This is like when the Mizzou assistant's wife went on Facebook last Spring and was like: "No, you see all the players who left were grad transfers. Nothing to see here"

Last year I think 5 of their 12 or so were seniors or graduate students so this makes sense to me? 4 of the 5 had eligibility left. It's one thing when some players don't use their COVID year, it's another thing when ALL of them don't. If they graduated and have jobs or are going to grad school, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they left. Auburn really isn't the most exciting place on earth. Statistically, you'd think at least a handful of schools would have ALL graduating seniors with eligibility left leave.

The returning roster is very small, and they did have that canceled season. But their recruiting class is good, so I guess we'll just have to see.

From what I heard, their recruiting class is good. The Gophers may kick themselves for opting for Carter Booth over Kemp. She has the potential to be great!

OMG, first I'm seeing this. If things are dire, it's so sad that he dragged Washington alumni down with him. I loved Kelcey Dunaway and her husband Rick was active in the club scene in Seattle. At least he's still a daddy..... :-* Kelcey is an orthopedic surgery resident at a nearby hospital. I expect she's doing fine, other than dealing with all the COVID-stress that the health care profession is experiencing right now.

Look at who the coach is. He fled USC because the hammer was coming. Well, he's also probably making more money at Auburn, and the cost of living is much lower. It looks like he was paid at least $215K this year at Auburn, and given the way Auburn reports its salaries, the real number is probably a bit higher, maybe $250K or so.

I didn't realize Crouch had left USC, the way they have played the last two years, I assumed he was still there

The returning roster is very small, and they did have that canceled season. But their recruiting class is good, so I guess we'll just have to see. Won't speak to the class as a whole, and won't name any names, but they have a scholarship player coming in who wasn't able to crack her high school's line-up in four years. Yes, her high school is quite good. But... c'mon.

Some highlights (all about different players): -WaPo Player of the Year and Gatorade Player of the Year for Virginia (not in the release but I happen to just know that) -No. 4 recruit and top MB in Minnesota -No. 84 overall recruit -PrepVB top 150 -No. 2 recruit and top OPP in Missouri Auburn has not historically been a destination for top volleyball talent. But this class looks pretty good to me for their standards. I guess we'll see.

Is Auburn a good school academically? When Steve Spurrier was the football coach at Florida, he commented on a fire at Auburn's library that had destroyed 20 books. "But the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet." To be fair, Auburn is one of the top 5 schools that starts with the letter "A" in the State of Alabama.

My favorite of his lines was the classic, "You can't spell 'Citrus' without 'UT'".
