Auburn may have scheduled mostly cupcakes but they’ll be more competitive in the SEC this year than they were the past couple.
They’re not going to be great, but certainly in a much better place than the past couple seasons.

To be fair, Jacksonville State is legitimately a pretty good win. They’re certainly better than Alabama, who Auburn has twice next weekend. watch some of their replays on ESPN. they are not good but might just go undefeated. Giving me 2013 Mizzou vibes. okay mizzou 2013 was actually pretty good lol |

I will never forget the AT HOME announcer saying in the second round "Wow, this by far the best team we've played this year" about a 20-11 purdue team. |

okay mizzou 2013 was actually pretty good lol lol what even do not rewrite history like this. I will never forget the AT HOME announcer saying in the second round "Wow, this by far the best team we've played this year" about a 20-11 purdue team. listen 😭 |

I will never forget the AT HOME announcer saying in the second round "Wow, this by far the best team we've played this year" about a 20-11 purdue team. listen 😭 it's honestly unlucky for mizzou i just don't think they at all expected to have that type of team carly kan said "hey I'm here!" ... their preseason was SO badly scheduled and then that was one of the worst years for the SEC in recent memory so they just did not see a decent team all season. if florida has been at their normal and a few other teams pushed them, I could've seen them going a lot further but they seemed absolutely shocked that the normal things they could get away with weren't working. |

There may be more time needed for judgment. Most of Auburn’s non-con is vs. 200+ RPI type teams. How good is Hail State? Their best win so far is Kennesaw State.
It does look like Auburn is better than last year (I.e not losing to Alabama State) for at least that point.
But I am still wondering about how players feel playing for him - given some prior rumors of ‘complaints’ and players quitting. I hope Rath is OK - I know nothing of her situation, but, she was a great player that quit the team this year.

They have some pretty good teams coming up on their schedule. LSU is next. Florida and Kentucky are down the line. Tennessee will be a tough match.
Towson may go undefeated looking at their schedule, but Auburn will take a couple losses before the season is complete. Regardless of how they do this season, with all the experience the frosh are getting, this will be noted as a successful season.

Currently fourth in the SEC and may get into the Tourney?
Freshman Kendal Kemp is poised to shatter the single season blocking record.
If they get in, it will be interesting to see how they do.
