UH will be playing that same CSUB team that gave CAL POLY such a scare on Friday. Before visiting SLO and facing POLY at Mott on Saturday. Playing at home and sleeping in their own beds might be the edge CAL POLY needs to topple the Wahine. Will the POLY coaches be in the stands Friday nite when UH plays CSUB? yes, only it will be the stands of Mott Gym to watch their team practice |

You are now looking quite prophetic. 😀 Hawaii hasn’t looked sharp on the second night of back to backs, and Mott on a full night is one of the toughest gyms in the conference. |

I want Hawai'i to win somehow, but they are looking shaky with Ikenaga out, and Stockham is always good and Dvoracek would always be an especially difficult match up for these Wahine! I am just sad Cal Poly was not fully healthy in the non conference! Their squad now is dangerous!

Since this is the Cal Poly thread, I will say this. Healthy Cal Poly is really formidable. The injuries early on, plus really good competition, hurt them in a lot of close losses, but darn they are good healthy, and they were able to grind it out recently when not 100%

Since this is the Cal Poly thread, I will say this. Healthy Cal Poly is really formidable. The injuries early on, plus really good competition, hurt them in a lot of close losses, but darn they are good healthy, and they were able to grind it out recently when not 100% has the talent when 100% healthy. Key word "healthy",...which has been a problem over several years. Both Hiatt and DeNecochea played in one set against CSUB on Tues. Don't know if that means they will be available tonite or coach Walters is just trying to keep them warm for the "home stretch"!!! (last 10 matches) |

It's been a very frustrating season for the Lady'Stangs. Some of the issues could be attributed to the injury loss of three returners. (Not sure if they will be back at all this season.) But,...the win against UH on Sat.,...helpful in forgetting. The race for the BWC Championship just got a lot tighter |

This time to face the 2nd place UCSB gauchos. POLY is in a must win mode. Good to see Amy Hiatt playing again during the Friday nite match against CSUN. Doesn't look good for POLY at 10-4 with six matches to go. The balloon seemed to have burst!!! Another win over UH will certainly take the sting out of waiting for another season. |
