FIVB already have eggs on their faces. All the other sports federation have made their decisions, all earlier and quicker than the FIVB. Dumbasses. By the way vbnerd is already a legend on VT.

Slovenia said they won't be participating either.
Graca, Marte, and Boricic are as incompetent as ever.
Boricic isn't surprising... given Serbia's opinions on Russia

Putin just put Russian on high nuclear alert and DEFCON is trending. Some "poop" is seriously going in the wrong direction. Ukraine has agreed to meet with Russia on the Belarus border. Even if things "get settled" there is NO WAY THAT SPORTS FEDERATIONS SHOULD AGREE TO PLAY IN RUSSIA OR ALLOW RUSSIAN TEAMS TO COMPETE WITHIN THEIR COUNTRIES UNTIL THEY LEAVE UKRAINE ALONE.

BTW that's a real shame, even the FIDE has cancelled the Chess Olympiad (kind of Chess World Team Championship) that was scheduled to take place in Moscow this year, and we all know what chess means to Russia... it's actually Russia that is 2021 gold medalist. Lol even the Russian-government, Russian state company sponsored FIDE does something.

Lol even the Russian-government, Russian state company sponsored FIDE does something. The FIDE is way more sponsored in terms of money by India and Tata for instance, Visha Anand is responsible for that. The biggest tournament being the Tata Steel Chess at Wijk An Zee in The Netherlands that is the season's opening (Candidates tournament excepted, of course sponsored by russian company Phosagro indeed).
The Chess Olympiad isn't as a big event. Corus was the sponsor since 2000, and then Tata bought Corus for Wijk An Zee. What brings money to the players is bigger companies that can put more money on tables, Gazprom for instance sponsors the Olympiad, World Cadet and Youth championshps.Far from being the most important tournaments... Tata puts way more cash with Wijk An Zee only.

Italian and Polish journalists are reporting that the FIVB has said they're cancelling it being held in Russia (to be moved elsewhere).

USAV should step up and put in to host.
USA has never hosted a world championships, men or women.
They haven't been in North America (men or women) since 1974.

Chicago always gets a huge crowd. Especially for Poland, Serbia and Bulgaria. But yea, maybe Shreveport would be better.

I wouldn't say "huge", but it's certainly the best crowd in the USA for mens volleyball. but there's probably not a chance that this would happen
