I’m not sure I know who I want in the finals. Serbia hasn’t faced Japan, China, Italy and Brazil. Maybe their record is perfect because of that. I have a feeling that whoever wins the second semifinal tomorrow will be the new champion. |

The Champion is whoever wins the final, no matter how it gets there. |

What I meant is that, in my opinion, the Group E teams were a little bit better than the ones in group F (I am not talking about the semifinalists, which I believe are indeed the 4 best teams). But at this stage, obviously any team can win it all. One thing is certain: it’s been a very entertaining tournament so far.

If history and FIVB's obsession with letting pure statistics determine most of dream team is anything to go by, Serbia can consider themselves very lucky if they get more than 2 spots (and I'm including MVP in that in the case of victory). At most, Boskovic and either Stevanovic or Drca will get it (the likelihood of getting 3 members on there increases if Italy beats Brazil, because then it would be unlikely that even FIVB will give 3rd or 4th place Brazilians 3 spots, and their biggest candidates are direct competition to some of Serbia's best players in this tourney). |
