Pretty easy to see a Serbia v Turkey quarterfinal here and I love that. Turkey? Easy? Nothing comes easy! They are so erratic. I definitely think their ceiling and likeliness to advance to the QF round is most likely of the Pool B/C teams minus Serbia/USA, but, I think the margins are very thin. The 3 and 4 spots of that combined pool are wide open. Serbia hasn’t really been concerned with “winning pools” it seems like either, so long as advancing. It will be very interesting if one of the Pool B hopefuls has a last minute match with Serbia and they rest Boskovic when it doesn’t matter for them and they are already qualified but could be a determinant for the others. I wonder if Croatia will make any noise in Pool B. Thailand/DR/Poland are unpredictable wildcards always, but, I wouldn’t put past 3 pool C teams making it into QFs if BUL/GER/CAN get hot.

I know you’re trolling but it’s a fact that Serbia won this tournament. Me saying time for them to defend their title isn’t a problem lol.

She’s gonna have the whole summer off until then. I think they will want to win the pool.

They did it in 2018. They gave the pool win to the Netherlands and got destroyed in a sweep. under terzić I just don’t think it will matter. Unless they are weighing a potential QF match up against USA if they lost, I don’t see why they’d need to play her when already qualified. I doubt there will be a huge difference in level between the other 2 teams who qualify, so matchups wouldn’t matter.
