Red Rock Weekend #2 results: 18 Open- Coast gets their bid, beating Sunshine in 3 (28-26, 22-25, 16-14). Unclear if anyone else got a bid. Possibly TAV, but I did not confirm 17 Open- Drive Nation over Coast in the finals (28-26, 25-23). Both will get their bids. 16 Open- Wave takes it over Drive Nation in the finals (26-24, 26-24) I didn't go back to look at how many bids were available in each division. Presumably at least one bid got kicked back to At Large in 18s. Yes TAV got a bid

Yowza. 15 previously qualified teams. For some reason, A5 isn't indicated on AES. FC Elite is the top-seeded team without a bid, but they'll need to crack the top 8 to earn it. Elevation won Bluegrass a couple weekends ago by knocking off Munciana. This is the only qualifier for KIVA, who finished 11th at Triple Crown.

I don't believe they care if they win a Qualifier or not.

JVA doesn't own clubs. KIVA is now a 3 Step club. 3 Step owns clubs that primarily play USAV, JVA, and/or AAU. They are not a single affiliated entity.
Yes, KIVA is primarily a JVA/AAU club.
Also, Tri-State Elite 18s have attended MEQ at 18s the last 2 years and qualified. They are also primarily a JVA/AAU club similar to Munciana and KIVA.

Thats an in accurate statement. They own big clubs that were part of the jva birth; and 3step has there own tournaments. 3step owned teams play in 3step tourneys: ie. Emperor’s club for 18’s: which is same weekend as USAV 18’s Nationals in Columbus: the E Cup is same weekend but in Las Vegas: and 3 step owned teams are signed up for same and not attending USAV 18’s

My brain is fried from tournament weekend. Do you know where to find the other age groups?

FC Elite earned the 3rd Open bid by winning the 5/6 playoff match over NKYVC in 3 sets - don’t know why AES doesn’t show that accomplishment 🤯

Elevation 18 Spinney has been on a crazy hot run these last 3 tournaments, winning Bluegrass, OVR Regionals and now winning MEQ (without dropping match). Adversity had a huge win on day 2 over 1st Alliance, and then they continued that momentum on day 3 to earn their bid. How about Paramount VBC 18's double-qualifying? They are a relatively new club (started 7 years ago) from the CHRVA Region and have already earned 3 open bids (including double-qualifying this season). Impressive.

Regions are designated with 2 letters? What region is CHRVA?
