Markova has to be a lock as the 6 rotation OH.
Beason should be the RS, but her playing 6 rotations will depend on her ability to help with ball control. Definitely would like her backrow attack.
Victoria likely is in the leading spot for the other OH. She just has so much upside. I don't think she plays 6 rotations but I think she can cover a small corner of the court in serve receive.
Robinson and the Hendricksons play only if they can pass significantly better than the above or one of the pins are just not effective offensively that match. I doubt and hope Florida doesn't go with the 6-2 but that's the only other way I see these 3 getting playing time.
ACF might act as a DS for Beason or serve for a MB.
Thomas, Okammor and Essix will battle for the 2nd MB spot.
Florida's whole season comes down to how significant an impact our 2 freshman DSs and Markova can have on serve receive. Having Knop coaching now hopefully is an added boost for all players in this regard too.

How did Stanford look this weekend? I know 2-0 but any general thoughts?

Based on numbers, Rubin is still adjusting to the college game. The OH2 spot may rotate amongst she, Berty, and the GR transfer, Teehan-all who saw some playing time, until she is showing better numbers.

This one for me is 100% going to be determined by serve recieve. Last time around the Card had the advantage at home and Florida led throughout the 1st and 4th setss before breaking down to passing. I think Florida being home will be huge but if Stanford can serve up some stress... it might be hard. I think Florida wins 3-1 or Stanford wins 3-1. I don't think anyone sweeps with how early it is in the season.

Rubin will definitely get the start due to her all around game. She's a primary passer so will have to really be in the shank tank to get pulled. With that said, she is a freshman and this is her first really big match.

How did Stanford look this weekend? I know 2-0 but any general thoughts? Mixed bag I thought. Francis really surprised us and played beyond expectations at MB. I'd say Kipp, Baird, Miner, and Oglivie were about what we expected. Rubin, highly ranked freshman was inconsistent. Overall you are looking at Stanford team that is very similar to last year but just more experienced. Changes are minor which can be summed up as follows: Holly Campbell, starting MB graduated Sami Francis moves from OH to MB. Elia Rubin, takes one of the two starting OH spots. Probably the biggest issue for Stanford will be their floor defense, but it is early.

Would it be fair to say the following:
Florida against Virginia looked better than Stanford against either opponent, and Virginia is probably better than either Stanford opponent, too.
If that’s true, then 3-1 or maybe even 3-0 Florida, esp with Florida at home.
Stanford still looked slow in the backcourt against both teams, and against TSU I thought they looked kinda uninspired. Hope the Gators bring out the best in the Card.

As with most matches, this one comes down to serving and blocking. Serve receive is important, but really good serving will beat any college passers. I just don't know enough about Florida, but Stanford serving should be adequate, maybe better than that. Blocking could be better than last year.

If Florida plays how they did against Virginia, I think they will win. Of course I haven’t watch Stanford play this year. But dang did Florida look good yesterday night

But dang did Florida look good yesterday night Stanford definitely looks a lot better than they did last year lol. they have the weapons to score against anyone, if they can pass well they will be tough to beat. floor defense is still a question, have yet to see a good team
