All the same, let it be known that you don't want the Gophers playing in any weekend tournaments where it won't be true that all tournament games are streamed.
Sheer nonsense

They most likely dont have any say in the decision. It seems to be related to ESPN tv rights. (which is what was said about Hawaii's matches in Texas AM not being shown). You're probably better off directing that to ESPN I dont see too many links, but here's one for ESPN+ help.espnplus.com/espnplus_hc and I’d have to think TCU’s broadcasting director would have some say? or at least some sort of open communication with ESPN+? not 100%, but this is his email: b.estridge@tcu.edu

TCU and the Big 12 are going to produce telecasts of three of the four teams playing at TCU this weekend. The common element of those matches not being televised is Baylor, not the Big 12 and not ESPN.

And where is Hugh or Mark Coyle on this?? Must be nice to have a head coach that cares about such things!

Just my guess - either Baylor won't pay the fee or does not have enough ESPN+ subscribers to cover the cost.

Gopher Volleyball has confirmed via twitter that there is no live stream… kind of a ridiculous thread trying to hype us for the season opener and then immediately following it up with “and yes, there is no live stream”

I guess I’ll just have to watch after on VM but I hate that it isn’t being streamed

And where is Hugh or Mark Coyle on this?? Must be nice to have a head coach that cares about such things! Someone suggested in that Twitter thread that one of the moms should stream it like for youth club events and Sheffield said he'd see if his mom would do it. Funny, but yeah it's a problem. Sheff has intentionally used his platform on Twitter to advocate for higher VB visibility overall and he's doing a great job, but I don't think you can expect all the coaches to follow his lead. All coaches have a different comfortability level on Twitter, and if they're not comfortable doing it don't push them into it.

Its been brought up on this board and others but anyone attending this match or the Baylor vs Wisconsin match please consider live streaming it through Facebook (or wherever) for us poor unfortunate souls who can’t attend. It would be greatly appreciated 👍

Can Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Baylor really not pay some local company to do essentially that very thing, but with a little bit more professionalism/quality than someone literally sitting there holding a phone pointed at the court?? Can it possibly cost more than $10k per match, to do a reasonable job??
Watch, Wisconsin and Baylor will get it done, for that match. Meanwhile, Mark Coyle sitting there with his thumb up his ____.

My hopes for a last minute addition of streaming appear to not being coming true. ;-( Ugh. I knew I should have made a trip to Texas.
Go Gophers!
