I’m not even that big of a Wisconsin fan, but I’m super excited to see Franklin this season. If you happen to remember how huge of an impact Russell Wilson had on Badger Football in 2011 as a transfer, Franklin looks like she could have a similar impact to this years Badger Volleyball squad. She’s gonna be an All American. Well she was highly rated by most coming into this season except Emily Ehman. It should be an exciting season for sure. With a healthy Orzol, an improved Demps, the reigning tournament MOP in Smrek, AND Franklin the pieces are there to be the most explosive offense in Wisconsin volleyball history. When the setting component rounds in to form.... WATCH OUT! |

33-31, white. That was like 2 sets, so… that’s a wrap (unless they never were never gonna play 4 sets).

Wrobel seems to have a great sense of when to hit with power and when to use finesse. That has to be rare for a true freshman. Hope she pushes for gets a good bit of playing time this year.

I agree that Franklin should have been higher on the list, but I understand Emily’s explanation. When a player goes from one of the worst teams to one of the best teams, it’s hard to predict how things will play out. But I think a 10ish spot would have been more fitting

I really liked what I saw out of Gucetkin. Had some really athletic digs and some pinpoint passes, even on Orzol's cannon serve. Franklin was as advertised, top-notch all around. Has all the shots and another dynamic serve. Orzol is definitely fully healthy and has an explosiveness that wasn't all there at the end of last season. It was a tremendous scrimmage; quality rallies and superb volleyball all around. It felt like two NCAA tournament teams playing each other. |

I'm not an experienced badger fan or college volleyball fan but I have been trying to follow it. I'm curious what your opinions are on the setter situation? What are your ideal line-up (for now)?  |
