Hey howdy. It’s your friend Rainbow here. The Rainbows are visiting friends with a new baby, so we’re unable to attend this year’s scrimmage. There’s no stream (boo), so I’m relying on all of you to fill me in on the juicy details.
Is the scrimmage a place where if one would bring the grandkiddos there'd be a chance at meeting their favorite player or getting an autograph??
Full concessions availible?
How many sets and anything that one should know about attending the scrimmage? 🙂
My best recollection of prior years is no concessions (maybe yes last year, though?).
Four sets or so, usually; one year I remember it was really warm, and Kelly called it off after three. Switching up of teams and line-ups; that is a player might be on the "red team" two sets and then of 'white" for two, etc.
Pretty informal, so yeah, walking up to a player afterwards could possibly be done. I don't remember any 'official' autograph table, etc. but if they did do so, I might not have noticed.
(Of course, I've never been to one where the defending national champs were taking the floor, so who knows how that might affect things. Yeah, that was a another chance to throw in "national champs".)
---------- LOL. Rainbow and I remember concessions differently! He's more likely correct.
