well for 1. She held up very well at VNL. 2. Even if she didn’t do spectacular in her first real high level international outing it wouldn’t mean much because the serving is way tougher internationally To be clear, I am a big fan of hers and she’s hands down my POY choice. She carries GA tech on her back and I’m here for it. My comment was meant to point out any minute weakness she has that another team could work off of, every player has one and that was my take on hers. well that’s the thing. It’s not a weakness

Maybe you can point me in the right direction to find her serve receive stats? (Or anyones for that matter) I honestly can’t find any and would like to know.

FIVB has passing stats... but they're honestly not super reliable or accurate. en.volleyballworld.com/volleyball/competitions/vnl-2022/statistics/women/best-receivers/

julia b's weakness is that she chose to return to GT instead of playing in the WCHs this fall

If you're looking at attainable personal goals for this year, it makes much more sense for her to stay in school. BTW, I would agree with Avid, that if you're looking for "weaknesses" in areas she's expected to perform (that is, not setting), then blocking is the skill I think she currently has the most room for improvement. I wouldn't call it a weakness though. Let's just say she's less amazingly fabulous in that statistic.

(Or anyones for that matter) I honestly can’t find any and would like to know. not including the BYU match she is passing a 2.36. For reference anything above a 2.25 would be elite even for a libero. A 2.36 for a very terminal outside is actually other worldly

bergmann too good to be playing in the ncaas LOL sorry. shes literally one of like... four outsides outside of the US to be both terminal in attacking and a reliable passer. she would start on so many club teams. and thats why shes the queen

Just curious why the hate for Georgia tech? They swept, Illinois and byu. If you don’t think they are top 15 you are saying (Kentucky, Purdue, Stanford, Washington, byu type of teams are all better than them). There body of work is better than all those teams. Their body of work puts them in the conversation with Wisconsin/osu/San Diego)

San Diego is worthy tho as they have two good wins

Not sure we know who Ohio State is yet. Their pre-conference schedule is a murderers' row.

There are some Mormon massacres of native americans back in the day not as one sided as this set. Is this necessary? You couldn't come up with a better analogy?

I don't think it should be glossed over, and frankly it's not as well known as it should be, IMO. And this was a very one sided match. But I knew when I wrote it I was being on the colorful side. If you want to give me some kind of timeout I wouldn't blame you.
