julia b's weakness is that she chose to return to GT instead of playing in the WCHs this fall I think a major part of her decision to return to Georgia Tech instead of turning pro is because she is on schedule to graduate with a degree in physics at the end of this academic year. Who knows, maybe she will decide to return as a 5th year and pursue her masters (but I doubt that). And keep in mind she is doing all this with English as her fourth, and least proficient (though she speaks it fluently now) language following Portuguese, German and Spanish. She truly is Wonder Woman. |

She truly is Wonder Woman. This is one of those personal goals I referred to earlier, but there are others that are volleyball goals. Having that degree in her pocket is a nice backup plan if the pro volleyball career fizzles out. Yeah, she's not staying once she gets that degree. Cherish her now, while we still have her. |

byu might be the 3rd best team in the WCC and that’s being generous… LMU will probably give them all they can handle too. Unless byu decides to play like they did against WSU again.

Not a great weekend for BYU, obviously, but they are learning where they need to improve to get where they want to be. It looks like they will be pushed more in the WCC this season, which is a good thing for them, I think.

Just watched Bergmann for the first time yesterday vs BYU and wow she is incredible and has definitely taken her game to another level. She plays differently than any NCAA attacker I’ve seen this year and that includes Eggleston who I very much stan. I need a Bergmann vs Eggleston match immediately.
