I hate 6-2s. I feel like they take away the ability for the setter to be aggressive and limits their ability at the net. Also go Card! Well it doesn’t limit their ability at the net, it eliminates. Of course you gain far more physicality and aggressiveness with a RS player. Lots of things I don’t like about it, but this the plus part, not negative IMO. Hames had a kill on a setter dump just last match. She just had to stay below the net. It doesn’t completely eliminate that threat if the defense is sitting too far back.

Calling it right now, husker sweep! Hord is gonna get at least 7 kills. Madi with 11, Whitney with 18, and Krause with 9.

Also what’s the status of the setter situation at Nebraska? 2 of them set and neither of them are named Orr 🤷🏾♂️ (Mike Sealy foaming at the mouth come December!) and next year it'll be one of them named Reilly lol. SO many programs could use an Orr next year

Just watched the Minn/Stanford game. I’m sorry Minnesota fans I feel your pain! But looking forward to seeing Kipp in person and to see how the good ole serve and pass plays out. I feel much better about this game than last year. Can’t wait!

Poster specifically said “at the net” Is “at the net” synonymous with “in a front row rotation”? Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying? For example can a libero provide coverage “at the net” or would that make no sense? I genuinely don’t understand the semantic argument you are making and maybe am not familiar with what “at the net” actually means. Regardless, setters in a 6-2 can still attack albeit with more restrictions and undoubtedly with less consistent effectiveness.

Let’s see if Stanford really deserves that generous #9 ranking
