great decision by ESPN... everyone tune in so we get more volleyball slots on ESPN & ESPN2 instead of just ESPNU!!

I think it's a fun style contrast: Kentucky with their offensive efficiency vs Louisville's block and defense (not saying that either team is bad at the other skills btw, just what I feel like they're known for)

someone with better memory than me, when was the last time a regular season volleyball game was on main ESPN? I went through all the threads I have made, nada. Some on ESPN2 always in October. (10/14/18, 10/13/19, 10/16/20) The last 2 dates were double-headers. Not sure about the first one. And of course these are only threads I have made. |

Just hope it doesn't go five sets and get cut off for college basketball tonight off season edition...
Seriously, I'm hoping it does run over it's scheduled time slot so we can see what ESPN does. Right now my program guide is whacked so I can't tell. Mine is currently showing ESPN with "espn films" from 7-9pm and a "30 for 30" overlapping it from 8-10pm. It still shows the Kentucky/Louisville match on ESPNU for me, @ 7-9pm, but also Nebraska's match with a six hour window from 3-9pm. Totally whacked...

Interesting that Rollins is not a marquee player for Kentucky……at least not yet. But I’m loving Rutherford’s growth. I'd say she's definitely a marquee player for UK right now. Playing 6 rotations, second on the team in kills. Her passing leaves much to be desired, but she's doing pretty well at everything else. |
