KBB talked about this the other day in her press conference (the importance of media marketing) Talking about using Nebraska as like the focus group... showing the potential that the sport can have (viewership wise) even without the heavy marketing power that these media outlets have. BTN does it well. It's too bad volleyball doesnt have the leverage to make ESPN take part. |

I didn’t see this match but definitely need need to watch the replay. I heard in Set 3 Stanford actually netted another 5 serves.

are there any numbers out for viewership?? not until tomorrow Twitter exchange with a local media person...he says overnight ratings are no longer a thing. It'll be a few days until numbers are available but he promised to watch and share when he sees them. |

She’s being sued to cover too much territory, and Louisville is taking advantage. She’s wearing the different colored jersey. You are tasked with being able to take the pressure off your OH. You shouldn’t wear the jersey if you can’t play defense AND pass. Who said she didn’t want the pressure? I’m saying perhaps she’s trying to cover too much. |

I thought the announcers were pretty decent. They kept each other in check. And I could understand their commentary as trying to appeal to a wider audience. Here's hoping for more games on ESPN. Oh god you've got to be kidding me. The female announcer, while knowledgeable, was waaaay too hype. She over-emphasized, over-explained, made just a ton of "duh" comments. I turned off the volume. |
