I think Colyer is going to be FOW for the 4th week out of 5. Question is whether to put Hannah or Brooke up for OPOW.

Who ranked Stanford 5th? ? Identify yourself and be shamed.

It's mystifying how bad some of Oglivie's secondary sets are. Like she just tried to set Oregon's right side on the 3m line from across the net on match point.

Kevin has to prove he can actually coach. One year with Poulter and Bastinelli, ILL didn’t even make the tournament. Then he inherited a National Champ team with a core of Sophomores and they kept winning for him. But we don’t know what he really did to influence anything. At least he didn’t make them worse, I guess.
To be clear, I am not trying to dog the guy. He has two Nattys. I just think there are more questions than answers.

Thorough, very thorough, rout. That 3rd set was extremely one sided. Stanford made a mini run to make the score look semi respectable. I don't know. Missing Francis was an issue, but it was hardly the only issue. It was in Eugene, so there's a return match coming up. These two teams still look to be the frontrunners for Pac champion. But Stanford is so hot and cold. Along with it seems like all the teams in any kind of projected top 10.

Who ranked Stanford 5th? ? Identify yourself and be shamed. Oregon is a good team. Stanford beat #13 Florida, #3 Minnesota, and #2 Nebraska. IMPO - I think this shows the bias and consistently inflated opinions voters have of BIG teams. And/or the lack of respect teams out west receive.

I want to like Hambly, but I was pretty surprised when they picked him as the new HC. Yes he took Illinois to the championship match in 2011….but like….that’s it?

You don't just roll the ball on the court and win a national championship. Stanford rightfully has high expectations and the last two years don't cut it at all, but this year's team has shown signs of getting back on track. And then, like today, it shows signs of just barreling into a ditch. But it's certainly not like it was the last two years.

I'd say the best thing he did was train up Tami Alade for the 2018 run. Other than that it was pretty much auto-pilot. Just compare Stanford's 2018 and 2019 ball control to now -- absolutely night and day.

Aside from missing Francis, what other things hindered Stanford from competing? Because besides set 2, this was a beat down.

Kevvy still needs time to do that, or not.
