I think it'd be disappointing to not see another upper midwest team (Minneapolis/Chicago/Milwaukee) I have a feeling it's inevitable IF they're having 4 more teams next year just from the popularity of the sport in that area of the country. It would also help with travel costs in the league's infancy.

What would the divisions look like, with all those teams?

What would the divisions look like, with all those teams? It looks like they would break out into a West and Mid-West grouping. California teams, Phoenix and SLC would be West obviously, and then the rest. Maybe Texas could go to the West for balance, but that's a big distance.

If all 24 dots came to fruition, then there are 12 on either side of the Mississippi River (sending Minneapolis west). So 12 team divisions with an east/west divide is most likely. Or you could have four 6-team divisions to reduce travel. Atlantic: Boston, NYC, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa East: Grand Rapids, Columbus, Cincinnati, Chicago, Nashville Central: Dallas, Houston, Austin, Kansas City, Omaha, Minneapolis West: San Diego, Long Beach, Anaheim, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake Or perhaps three divisions of 8...

What would the divisions look like, with all those teams? With ALL of them!? 24 teams? Probably 4 divisions of 6 teams? I'd go: West: Vegas, Pheonix, Long Beach, Anaheim, LA, and Salt Lake South: DFW, Huston, Austin, Jacksonville, Tampa, & Orlando North: Grand Rapids, Kansas City, Indy, Minneapolis, Omaha, & Chicago East: Columbus, Cincinnati, NY, Boston, Atlanta, & Nashville. I expect the first year of 8 teams will only have two "Conferences" with no divisions.

It only took a week, but the Atlanta team actually had a mention in their local media that wasn't just a posting of the press release.

I thought this video was relevant to our earlier discussion of a good TV deal, how important it is to grow a sport, and how several of the broadcast deals - which are still built on the assumption that most potential viewers use traditional cable packages - are actually detrimental to sports fans and sabotage a league's ability to find new viewers. Here's a follow up video: I know a lot of people aren't watching these, but if you are thinking regional sports channels are a good place for the PVF to televise games you really needed to open your eyes to what's happening. They are endangered species in a lot of markets!

No Florida team? What? I had all three of them in my "Atlantic" division.
