Pepperdine is the perfect place for Scott, really, and I think he knows it.

You called it..................Tyler That guy doesn't seem to stay in one place very long. LBSU is no longer the Beach of yesteryear. He will have a hard time getting top level prospects there because of the conference and due to the program being down recently. Moving to UCLA will allow for him to land better recruits and also with UCLA moving to the BIG 10, Tyler could use his contacts he has established while at Nebraska to fill his roster in Westwood. Having a football program at UCLA will definitely attract a better pool of talent. It would be a risky move for UCLA since he has only been a HC for one season but for Tyler, that would be a good move for him…professionally and financially.

If Hildebrand really does go to UCLA, I don’t think the Long Beach women’s program will ever recover from that.

Long Beach just needs to beat Hawai'i to be relevant again. lol well, if the goal is to relevant on Hawaii threads.... but that's not the goal! You always miss the point, or bring up an irrelevant one. If Long Beach can win the Big West auto bid—and they have to be better than Hawai’i to do that—they’re as relevant, or more, than Hawai’i.

I didn't miss the point at all you miss having a sense of humor besides, the goal of Beach is really not necesaarily to get the auto-bid. it's to be good enough to make the auto-bid irrelevant. not everything has to be looked at from a Hawaii-centric view Hawaii is not the competition in the larger scheme of things
