lol, I did not say it was not easier to win teh auto-bid. I said it's not NECESSARILY easier. not the same thing. using your own statements as 'facts' supported by your put-downs, is your MO, lol. my statement was clear, and you can disagree with it, but apparently not without resorting to your put-down routine because you don't understand and then twist words, lol again, the goal for Beach is to get to be a top 25 team, and if they do that it is TRUE that the auto-bid (even thought they might well win it anyway being top 25) becomes moot when one is a top 25 team. NOTHING you say or said refutes that. jeez, read dude! I understand that. I already reacted to that by stating that LB hasn’t done either (be top 25 or advance to the NCAA tournament) recently. Winning the conference auto-bid—which essentially means being able to beat Hawai’i (which LB hasn’t done recently, while they have beaten SB and Cal Poly) is easier than being top 25. That was the point I made in response to the post about LB being (or not being) relevant—that LB would become “relevant” by beating Hawai’i. You’re the one who ad libbed the goal as being to be a top 25 program. It’s obvious that being a top 25 program would make Long Beach or any team relevant. so you actually understood and said it was confusing as well, lol, ok!

This is why you deserve—and get— the put-down. You could avoid it by rambling less.

So who is gonna replace him? The delay could certainly mean they are waiting for a coach in the Final 4. If you assume Petrie is happy at USD and Fisher is not yet ready to leave what he has built at Pitt and the salary is not high enough to change their minds, you are left with three associate head coaches with CA connections. Erik Sullivan; David Hunt; and Alfred Reft. Two of the three are UCLA alumns. My money is on one of those three. Anybody got anything better??

UCLA believes it is an issue the Regents will weigh heavily in their decision.
