Penn State, please. I need you to peak for one night. Channel your past selves.
I can see you really don't want to meet the Badgers in F4.
I don’t think a Nebraska fan would want to even go near Wisconsin ever again lmaooo

I hear somebody at the concession stand last night saying "I don't wanna see Texas this year". And I thought "I do!". If Wisconsin sees Texas, it means we're playing for the championship. Sign me up!! Nebraska in the final four? Heck, yeah! We're at the Final Four!

I love rainbowbadger's game threads so much. He has such a great sense of humor. I haven't seen that part as much this year, but I know it's still there. These fun facts are so fun for me to read. And graphically they're so well laid out with all the pertinent information. In any case, the information on the two creameries was terrific. Made me want to go get some ice cream! If only my cardiologist didn't have that damned tracker app on my phone! I can eat ice cream any time. At PSU it was 8:30 am before a fb game. My only advice is avoid the mint chip. It was delicious. But it's a rental.

Wisconsin looks likes they’re going for back to back titles and i’m here for it. Cheering for the Badgers for Bucky!
FWIW, I also love Kash!

Even if I didn’t, so what? Lmao. It’s sports, why would I *want* to meet the team we haven’t done well against recently for a showdown in a single elimination tournament?

I couldn’t watch R1/R2, but over the last few conf matches, Wisconsin has looked really, really good.

I don’t think a Nebraska fan would want to even go near Wisconsin ever again lmaooo I usually do not agree with jw, but his posts below this resonate. As for THIS match, I can see anywhere from a WIS sweep to a Penn St. 3-2. It's truly hard to gauge PSU; they are *not quite* elite like WIS.

The dream scenario for me would beating Stanford in the FF and Texas for the title.

Bump! Added all-conference honor info to the Players to Watch section.
Also a heads-up, especially to out-of-town folks: We're forecasted for freezing rain / snow on Thursday. Be careful driving.

I favor UW, but would be surprised if this is a sweep. Even against TCU, a match which UW dominated, there was a set where TCU started to play better and took it to 23-25. PSU has more weapons and some real fighting attitude.
The badgers used to just slice through teams with their first side out efficiency. Now they grind teams down by extending points and letting the block or transition win the point, or letting the other team error out. They wait for the moment to land a killer blow, playing really clean and knocking the other team on their heels for long periods until they make a mistake or give the initiative over. It's a very different style of play. It a resilient style of play, but if opposing teams can string a few really scrappy plays together, start passing, and error less, they can match up for a time.
I think PSU is a little too error prone to win a match, but they can definitely tilt the court for a set, maybe two, especially of the badgers serve lets up.
