No mental toughness

Hmmm, I thought Kentucky played much better this weekend than the previous two weekends on the road. Tealer responded from her benching and was really aggressive. Grime was much better, and the outsides provided more offense than I anticipated. I won’t be surprised to se UK compete for the SEC title, maybe finish runner-up, and advance to the Sweet 16. The Kats are better than last year IMO.

Purdue played better. Not making errors at the rate your opponent does means you outplayed them.

How many returning All-SEC players does Kentucky have - with the addition of Wilson from Mizzu and a great freshman OH?

4 off the top of my head -- Grome, Tealer, Rebo and Beavin.

I'm pretty happy with the fight and scrappiness the team showed last night. Tuzzo played out. Glad Skinner adjusted the defense, seemed to help.
Can we stop with outsides 2 handed set over. Teach them the power tip please.

Teach them the power tip please. that defense switch COMPLETELY changed the team. Like a complete 180. I couldn’t believe just how night and day it was when we actually got transition chances thanks to Molly playing left back. Beavin even finally started to dig some when she switched to middle back

Much better game last night finally. The left side continues to be a disaster though. I'm begging Craig to hit the portal this off season for someone athletic with a big arm. Wilson and Lamb ain't it and Deleye is going through typical freshmen pains but she'll be fine.

I agree but that might be a slim chance, sadly. with none of the OHs graduating after this year and the addition of Benjamin in 2024, I dont see how they gonna have room. thats 5 OHs on the roster, 4 of whom would be on scholarship. dont think he can bring in an impact transfer OH and give nearly half of the available scholarships to one position

But until Kentucky gets an infusion of talent on that side, they're not going to beat many great teams as evident last season and so far this year.

I feel like Kentucky will make a lot of noise in conference play. If they can sustain what they did in sets 3/4 they will win a lot. Excited to follow them from a distance.

No match thread for it, but UK beats LSU in four! I only was able to catch the very end of it.
Rebo was in sweats which is concerning. Tealer played RS and it looks like Deleye played 6 rotations?
