I honestly don't think UK has the scholarships available to pickup an OH in the portal. I'd like to think otherwise, but I don't think the money is there. They have a large 5 person freshman class who all could be on some amount of scholarship, and I'd bet Tealer was given one for her fifth year. You really only need one OH that can pass to run the 6-2. DeLeye could potentially be that six rotation OH and run a DS for Lamb or Melby. I think Skinner will decide early on wether they are running a 6-2 or 5-1 because it is hard to adjust mid year to one or the other. Welp, Kentucky just picked up 6”5 OH Megan Wilson from Oklahoma. She’s really good and underrated too. 6 rotation player, Kentucky could definitely help improve her defense and passing even more though. A 6`5" OH that's 6 rotations?! I have to sit down. m Im pretty sure they hid her in serve receive in the back row though, unless they absolutely needed her to step in, but overall she’s really solid. Definitely could use some work on defense though. Gromes speed and her termination will open up a lot of space for the other pin and middles. She can also play either opposite or outside equally. |

The Gophers once took in a Big 12 transfer named Megan Wilson (when Mizzou was Big 12) and the Gophers went to the Final Four that season.
Here’s to hoping the Big 12 Megan Wilson at Kentucky leads to similar success!
(If history repeats itself or whatever, you’ll also be getting a transfer setter from the Pac-12 named Taylor Carico.)

Kentucky's Associate Head Coach Anders Nelson takes the Vandy job. Makes a lot of sense and a great move for him
Skinner looks to hire an assistant for the second straight year.. I'd be willing to bet he goes to Lindsay Gray-Walton.. She was the former AC at UK and most recently the Oklahoma HC. UK just got OU's best player from the portal too..

Really going to miss Anders, he was outstanding for Kentucky. Great hire for vandy and figured there was a good chance they would go after him.
Big hire coming up for skinner who has now had to replace two coaches in the last two years.

Is Wilson a left or right side? Both she played left her freshman year and right her sophomore year. Fwiw it looks like she did move back to the left the last month of the season |

I don’t think Skinner hires Lindsay. She would be fine, but I suggest he hires a guy who can get a lot done in the training aspects.

It's my understanding that Anders was basically in charge of the blocking and scouting, my guess is he'd get somebody who could fill that role. Is there anybody else in the Ball State pipeline ready to come to Lex?
