A 6`5" OH that's 6 rotations?! I have to sit down. m Im pretty sure they hid her in serve receive in the back row though, unless they absolutely needed her to step in, but overall she’s really solid. Definitely could use some work on defense though. Gromes speed and her termination will open up a lot of space for the other pin and middles. She can also play either opposite or outside equally. I think this will be a significant pickup for Kentucky. She hit well with over 950 attempts as the focal point for OU. With the other weapons on the roster I think she'll be even more effective. Congrats to the Cats

How did Oklahoma do?

What does that have to do with how she performs for Kentucky? Put Eggleston, Landfair, or Bergmann in her place at OU...how many more wins would they have had with the same roster? Supporting cast matters and Kentucky is on another level compared to Oklahoma...certainly could be wrong but I think she'll help in a big way.

I think your point was lost when you mentioned her with three of the best leftsides in NCAA. But I do understand what your trying to say.

Oklahoma actually wasn’t horrible. They were young when the entire league was old. (Made this point in another thread) Wilson will be fine bc she doesn’t have to be the star, she isn’t that player and doesn’t want to be that player. After 20 she is bad, but she is a good piece to add to an established lineup.

Is that it for the portal? Not sure why I feel underwhelmed...

I would say that’s it unless anyone else leaves the program other than Bell. Really love the addition of Wilson to this lineup. It’s only going to bring out the best in Lamb and Melby and the freshmen who are vying for that spot.
I think the biggest question mark going into next season will be our defense. Goetzinger has been so up and down here and Jordyn Williams hasn’t shown anything to this point due to injury. Add that to a shaky DS group with Walker/Whitworth and I think it’s a legit concern for Skinner. Offense should be one of the best out there.

What happened to the former assistant that left last year? Carly Cramer.. I don’t think she’s coaching anywhere anymore.

Whitworth absolutely wasn't shaky in the second half of the season. She was sensational.
I think Tuozzo challenges Walker, personally, for her spot.

I was pleasantly surprised by Whitworth. With an off season of training, she is going to be a very solid DS. I forsee Tuozzo taking Walker's spot.

Time for Skinner to start talking to Mitch about some NIL $$$

I could be wrong, but it seemed like quite a few on last year’s rosters had NIL deals of some sort. Grome, Lamb, Rutherford, Tealer, Berezowitz all posted different brands on social media.
Obviously I’m sure it’s no where near where Nebraska and Texas and a few others are at, but I think they do an adequate job getting deals for the vball players.

Plus, yeah I have a soft spot for Florida, my folks live 50 minutes south, and I go to Gainesville for beer, so yeah, I am Florida over Kentucky for outside reasons, despite 1-6 Wisconsin vs.Florida. Kentucky got another share of the SEC, despite the injuries, and lost to a San Diego team that proved itself! I was really grateful when Wisconsin got by them! I have a ton of respect for the Wildcat program, which is not going away any time soon! That is good for volleyball! Plus, as a fan, doesn't having your favorite program having a national title just make everything easier? It has for me!

Who do you think UK brings in to fill in for Anders? I would say someone with a lot of experience and possibly even someone who has experience coaching the offense.
I think Gray-Walton has to be in the conversation. Any other guesses??
