Have any season ticket holders been contacted about renewal in the past couple of months? No

I just spoke with the ticket office and with Badger Select, you do not give up your current seats until you select your new seats. Also, there will probably be little movement in the Gold-seating area. 20/20 hindsight; 1) If you donated heavily last year to get into a better giving level for the 1st Gold/Silver/Bronze seating assignments, you would have gotten "good" Gold seats that you might not try to improve on this season, and so, you could lower your giving level this year and still keep those "good" seats relatively cheaply. However, 2) [my words] if you donated at a low level for last year's seating assignments and received "bad" Gold seats, and then donated heavily this year, you certainly would not end up with the "good" seats received in 1). I increased my donation last year to get into a better level for the seat assignments. I wish I had given even more to obtain even better seats so I could reduce my giving level this year. Question - Should I increase my donation this year in hopes that there might be better seats available? Is there a process to swap tickets with someone else, perhaps between lower/higher seats in the same section? If you've got that kind of money that you need to donate in order to move up (last year was $25,000 (MVP level I think?)) to to Silver, then God bless you. I tried last year and when they told me I needed to be at $25,000, I told them that's unfortunate, because I'm at every game vs. quite a lot of empty seats I often see at the courtside levels and maybe they should find a way to take that into account, they just told me to try again next year. $25,000 is 1/3 of my yearly salary... Geesh!

$25K seems excessive, and the MVP level is “only” $15K. I don’t doubt that they suggested one of the highest tiers, like All-American ($5K) or Champions ($10K), but I thought I heard there are some who don’t even donate that high who got Gold seats.
Either way, the new process moving forward should be a LOT more transparent than what they’d been doing in the past.

Last year I upgraded to the Director's Club ($2,500) and got Gold seats in Section E beyond the end line.

Very happy for both Booth and Franklin for making the Collegiate National team! I am curious why Robinson didn’t get an invite when she made the roster last year. Is it because she was an exclusive middle last year and an opposite this year? From the WSJ article about it: Rising senior Devyn Robinson, a 6-2 right side/middle blocker, was planning to be part of the training group but pulled out on Friday to give her body a week of rest.

Good to know that she got the invite and glad that she’s just resting up. Can’t wait to see her dominate next season!

Last year I upgraded to the Director's Club ($2,500) and got Gold seats in Section E beyond the end line. Maybe I should have requested Gold? I asked for 3 in Silver and got 3 in Bronze. I bet there was probably far more demand for Silver after a lot of displacement in Gold.

Howdy! I’ve been MIA, mostly on account of various preschool plagues that have ripped through Casa Rainbow the past 2 months. I’m hoping we’re finally on the other side of it all.
We commissioned some art from Danielle Hart, and it arrived today. So that’s the super exciting news from Rainbowland.

Here is the art. 6’4” middle blocker for scale. Wow. That's almost if not exactly the extent of the Wisconsin Glaciation. Captures the shape of it at least. Very apt for Wisconsin. A beautiful piece in conception and execution. (EDIT: Actually, it's really close. I remembered the glaciation extended into the middle part of the state but I double checked and that was a prior one) It's also Biiig! She does personal deliveries? How bout NY? (JK)

A friend of ours did the woodworking (cedar), and Danielle did the epoxy resin magic. It’s 30” x 28” and it hangs in our dining room. I love it.

Love that Danielle was able to this while she was playing. It’s a shame that a lot of talented people had to wait until after graduation to pursue such a cool business venture.
