We'll be there, with Little Rainbow in tow. Anybody have recommendations for things to do with little kids? We did the zoo and the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum when we were out there in April 2021. The Durham Museum (at the old train station) and the Omaha Children's Museum are both close to downtown and geared towards kids/families. |

More food options:
Naughty Buddha Burger Bar (just north of 24th & Leavenworth) - vegan burgers and sides, loved by both veg and non-veg family members
Asian Burmese Restaurant (5912 Ames Ave) - really good food, recommended by a friend from Myanmar
Stokes - they closed their downtown location, but are still open in west Omaha (13615 California St); Stokes has the BEST corn chowder (you laugh, but it is true!!)

Good food, and their beer list includes house brewed root beer. My kids used to love going there. |

I think I have this right. Street parking is enforced until 9pm, so I plan on parking in a 3hr spot just south of the Gene Leahy mall right about 6pm, for $1.25/hr.
