Penn State didn't lose a set the entire 2008 season and then in the third set against Nebraska they were down like 11-17 or something to Nebraska and Nicole Fawcett, probably the best OH in NCAA history, turned to the setter between points and said 'GIVE ME THE BALL" very loudly. Happy to report: she was set. She got the kill. But they lost the set. Ended up winning the match in 5. OHHH it was the 2008 match, was that also the same match where Blair Brown got a low set and hit it into the net, almost costing PSU the match? yes. |

Anyone else catch the grown ass man (or that’s what I’m assuming) on Twitter complaining about Texas being a roster full of 23 year olds? & that their average age is 24.5. Am I the only one who thought the match was kind of boring? The heavy favorite pretty much just ran away with it, as expected.

I didn't care who won, but I wanted Louisville to win the 3rd just to have a somewhat interesting match. Louisville getting to set point in the third gave the match a little boost, but not enough. Oh well, that's sports. Kudos Horns. |
