Congrats to the Texas Transfer All-Stars for winning the National Championship. Flame me all you want, but that wasn't a fair fight. Not when the winning team often had transfers playing in 4 of the 6 positions on the court. I've got no dog in this fight, so it's not a matter of who had the unfair advantage. But it flat out is unfair and the AVCA needs to fix it. Some international pro leagues have rules that limit how many players can be out of country or from some given country. You could do something similar here. For example, you can have as many transfers as you want on your team, but you can't have more than 2 on court at any time. That would be a reasonable limit. In the meantime, a serious congrats to Louisville for being the best mostly home grown team in the country. I truly don't know what transfers have anything to do with the point you're making? Zoe Fleck - UCLA (flopped season before) Madisen Skinner - Kentucky (flopped season before + on the team that Louisville beat last season, YES she was a Natty but lets be honest... no one counts that weird covid/rigged season for Kentucky) Bella Bergmark - on a 0-20 Cal team beforehand ? Kayla Caffey - On a missouri team that flopped, then Nebraska team that made finals (so I may give you this one) Akana - On a Nebraska team that made finals My point is - most of these transfers were on teams that *WERE NOT* going to allow them to shine... so why are you punishing them for going to a program that is allowing them to be play their best...

. Flame me all you want, but that wasn't a fair fight. Honest question: if Nebraska wins next year playing basically the entire U21 national team on the roster, will that be fair? Should there be a limit on the number of top recruits any one program can have? Stay salty my friends

It’s not like the Texas bench isn’t full of top players lol. Zoe was the player that changed everything for Texas. Without her, Texas is the same teams it’s been for the last 20 years. Incredible hitting but mediocre ball control. emma halter would like a word

(I guess that goes for any program not named Texas? ... and especially if you're from a certain conference not to be named). Texas did well. Managing all that talent is also a feat in itself. It was really fun to watch them!

Rewatching.
The point in the first set to get the score to 21-18? Wouldn’t have happened any other year for Texas. What a defensive clinic. Fleck dig, halter one arm stab, stuff block to end it
I’m not crying you’re crying

It was really fun to watch them! the thing about calling Texas an all-star team—aren’t all star teams typically not very good?? The best actual NBA team tends to be better than the All-Star team because the all star is just a bunch of really skilled people kind of playing on their own. But all year Texas has talked about how this is the most cohesive team they’ve ever had and how everyone is playing for each other

Elliot and Eggleston have repeatedly said how this year's team had the best culture and truly played for each other. Not trying to stir old tea but that clearly implies that was not the case last year. On any team in sports or the workplace, changing personnel is sometimes necessary to get a fresh start and reset the culture.

It was at 24-23, *set point* for LOU in the last set where DBK pulls HER LAST challenge insisting that there was a touch by O’Neil. It wasn’t even close - not sure why she did that. If she’d kept her cool she could have challenged the next call of them in the net - but alas - she had panicked the call before. Biggest coaching choke in the history of NCAA Championships? I’m not going to go that far.

And you with future hi d sight: you would have saved your challenge for a mythical future need that may never arise. Save your personal grudges for a moment with actual merit!
