Louisville hiring DBK has to be one of the best hires in the history of the sport. And she's only 37 years old.

And she's only 37 years old. extremely impressive she got her team the the FF two years in a row. especially when she doesn't have near the level of recruits of a school like texas. debeer is the highest ranked recruit in the history of the program, and she wasnt even ranked in the top 15. majority of these girls were in the 40-100 range

I think Texas squashes the Cardinals in 3, which is exactly what I thought the last time I was going to watch a championship match in Omaha.
Of course that night some little blonde girl went off and left Texas wondering what hit them.

I want Louisville to win (for about 29 different reasons) but if Texas some how loses this... Yikes. If Louisville wins, I believe it would be the first time in NCAA history that there is a brand new winner 3 seasons in a row (if my math + history is correct, the most is 2: USC/Hawaii 81-82 and Texas/Long Beach State 88-89). It would also be the first championship with a female head coach (closest has been Mary Wise as runner-up in 03-17). But ost imporatly I want Louisville to win because JE's smugness is unbearable.

Anyone want to post some passing stats for Lousiville and Texas to compare? Seems like Pitt’s tough serving was their key to the runs they went on.
Edit: I mean for last night specifically.

Yikes. lmao you just want a reason to hate on Texas. did y’all not just watch Louisville win the fifth set FIFTEEN to TWO last night?? Chaussee might be the best pin in the country right now. why would it be a yikes if the #1 team lost to the team that was #2 when their face of the program was hurt?! and now she’s back!

I was more nervous for the game against SD than this one. Not sure why. Maybe I'm just glad that they're playing in the Championship round.

Interesting to note that both teams starting setter is a transfer from the Pac-12. Saige from Utah and Raquel from USC You didn’t mention why this was interesting.
