So excited for this match, I think it's going to be epic. Texas looks really good this year, but they look good every year. Louisville is so confident right now and playing lights out. Louisville in 5.

I read (and heard) a lot of disappointment with Texas errors in that first set against SD - but for some reason I wasn’t that concerned. The team feels different this year at this stage in the tournament. I kept saying “it’ll be fine. You’ll see.” And my other half was yelling “ITS NOT FINE!” 😆. I was more relieved with the fight and aggression from Texas - I knew Logan Would settle and hone - but in the past Texas gets into their heads and plays safe (i.e. timid). I’m seeing no fissures this year. I’m calling it 3-0 for Texas, which might be foolish, so I’ll go even further and say I don’t think it’s going to be super close. That said - I’m wrong a lot - but that’s my feeling.

Going for Louisville because they are all playing for Dani, while Texas is playing for Logan. Go Cards!

I was more nervous for the game against SD than this one. Not sure why. Maybe I'm just glad that they're playing in the Championship round. Yikes. I would not take Louisville lightly. Texas should win, but I've thought that about a lot of Texas teams over the years. I'm not taking them lightly. I'm just not nervous.

I think Texas should win, but I feel like Louisville is getting a bit overlooked here. This kind of reminds me of the 1999 title game in men's basketball between Duke and UConn. Duke was the favorite and deserved to be, but the line (Duke -9.5) was insulting toward the clear No. 2 team. UConn won that game.

I don’t want to start a whole thread for this question… will tickets for next year’s championship go on sale this weekend? Since it’s in Tampa, I’m definitely going!

In addition to having a team with the talent to win it all, Louisville and DBK will also have a HUGE home-court advantage as it relates to fan support. Most Husker fans will root for anyone playing Texas in anything. That they are playing a team with a small-town Nebraska girl who grew up 80 miles from Omaha, played setter for three years before unselfishly moving to libero her senior year when NE won a NC, later winning as a Husker assistant coach, is many fans CLEAR choice to replace Coach Cook and who exudes all that is good about a home-state girl... as their coach will most assuredly not help Texas as far as crowd support goes. Personally, I had a late change in plans and was going to sell my ticket. I may have just talked myself into sticking with the original plan and going just to watch Texas lose. But then there is the very distinct possibility that the LHS will win. Just the thought of watching that live kinda makes me wanna . Naw... selling the ticket. GO CARDS The crowd advantage is something I hadn't really considered for some reason (just never thought about it), but that's a great point. The way I see it, Texas is the more talented team, but I think Louisville is better coached, and I think they're a bit more battle-tested than Texas is, and that experience could play dividends, especially with a supportive crowd. I'm not sure what will happen, but I'm happy that the two best teams in the country are in the final.

I’m absolutely intrigued.

10 final fours in 15 years just proves that all JE has to do is recruit and then roll the ball out onto the court and they'll take care of the rest.

I’m absolutely intrigued. the highest ranked recruit out of high school on Louisvilles roster was #19 overall and the only top 30 (might be 40) recruit they have. not saying it means they're better coached, but certainly something to notice. back to back final fours and a natty appearance with only one player that was actually being recruited by top tier programs as a high schooler seems pretty unique to me
