This is good for the Hogs. You'd rather that than Alabama. Not if you want to have a (better) chance to win the conference championship. The unbalanced SEC schedule has been the undoing of a few coaches over the past several years. Life isn’t fair and neither is the SEC schedule. If you are in the bottom half, you cross your fingers that the scheduling gods give you a break so you can keep your job another year. 2025 it will finally be a balanced schedule With that said my guess on travel partners A&M- Texas Mizzou- OU LSU- Arkansas Ole Miss- Miss State Alabama- Auburn Georgia- Florida Kentucky- South Carolina Tennessee- Vandy

Adding a conference tournament helps the unbalanced schedule though.

Wanted to ask this question to you guys. 3 SEC setters in the National Top 5 in Assists Per Set! 1, sure. 2, Ok. But 3! 1. Kami Miner STAN 2. Logan Case WMU 3. Caroline Kerr UT 4. Emma Grome UK 5. Hannah Hogue ARK What creates that in the SEC? No BIG10, no Big12, 1 PAC and 3 SEC setters in the top 10. Is it a style of play? Is it the rising level of play in the SEC? Fewer elite teams running a 6-2 than in other conferences? Is it specific to the coaches we have? I consider Watson to be one of the best setting coaches in the country, Skinner certainly has a track record of developing elite setters. What do you think is going on here? (sidenote: the NCAA screwed up their stats page yesterday, someone only filtered by the most recent weekend. But! I got this screenshot in the moment it was still correct.) Attachments:

Cheating. You guys are just better at it than the rest of us.
There's no shame in admitting it. We can't be great in everything.

If so in 2025 everyone plays everyone and then a 16 team tourney would solve a bunch of issues but no sure they would do it that way

It’s been announced there will be a conference tourney for volleyball in 2024. However, there’s been no real announcement about the schedule or the tourney format. Personally I hate having a conference tournament. As a Texas fan there’s a lot more bad things that can happen than good. But if that’s part of the price for getting into the SEC so be it. Just no double matches at the same location next year, please.

Watching South Carolina play is insane, their so scrappy and rarely let any balls hit the ground... I really am shocked how inconsistent they are... when they look good... they look GOOD

Janet Demarrais for Missouri with 24 kills in a 3-0 win tonight is impressive.

It's a shame because, otherwise, the team is solid at every position.
