Has Florida ever lost 6 SEC matches in a season? 6-6 is hard to believe next to Florida’s name. Has a team ever lost 3 of its Top 4 players to injury and still been in a position to make the NCAA tournament?*** Not really hard to believe when considering the situation. And to answer your question no, I cannot recall a time in the Wise era where Florida had 6 losses. It felt like the world was ending in 2015 when we finished with 5 SEC losses. |

So do we think Mizzou is a “lock” for the tournament? 35 in the RPI, a nice win against Georgia today. But they could realistically lose their next 5 matches (A&M, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, and Georgia again). Four of those opponents are in the top 27 in RPI and Georgia is 53. Would winning just 1 of those matches make them a lock? I love Dawn but I did not think she’d be able to turn them into a tournament team again so soon |

Would winning just 1 of those matches make them a lock? Hard to say whether it’s a “lock,” but I think they’re in the tournament right now and if they just beat Georgia, I think they still make it. I think they have a fair chance of beating A&M and Auburn. Hell, they could push Florida. Agreed, that was just a worst case scenario question. Thank you! |

I've been biting my tongue but Florida fans blaming everything on injuries is getting old.
Florida still has too much talent on its roster to be 6-6 in the SEC, THERE I said it.

I don’t cut Florida any slack at all on a personal basis. Them’s the breaks. But they could have had a monster team if things had gone differently. They didn’t. Oh well. |

I agree, especially when 3 of the 6 starters did not really pass and the main problem I've seen is basic ball control. I've said it so many times but they're going through a mental block. - Barely talking to each other on court - always leads to Elli and DS's fighting over an overpass or SR - No one communicating an obvious overpass - All the 'small' things that other teams are able to do, Florida just can't do it right. - Too many tight OOS sets and not enough trust to swing on every dig opportunity In my eyes, it's 100% a psychological problem that the team is going through, I don't think they've had an actual leader on the court. I will always stand beside the team but it's really hard to watch when all I see is just a lack of leadership. |

Hutson was why we came back to beat Penn State and a major reason why we beat Stanford. Starting your career hitting .200 on the outside against 2 prominent programs is no easy feat. She earned the spot over ACF and played better than Victoria. She had to be taken out of the USF game due to her injury and that showed in her stats dropping that game. We will never know what may have been but she would have been a game changer for Florida this season. |

You're making crazy speculative leaps about a true freshman, who as you stated, played one match fully healthy. And again, Hutson does nothing to solve Florida's glaring weakness: passing.
