Agree, it would be stretch to think they can make tourney; even with my rose colored Tiger glasses on! Just excited they seem to have found a libero to take over next year and a pretty solid looking OH to add to offense!! |

Mizzou is practically a lock for the NCAA’s with the win over A&M tonight. Dawn Sullivan should be SEC COY or at least in heavy consideration. Maya Sands may be the best lib in the conference as well but it’s stiff against Beavin and McKissock.

Mizzou is practically a lock for the NCAA’s with the win over A&M tonight. Dawn Sullivan should be SEC COY or at least in heavy consideration. Maya Sands may be the best lib in the conference as well but it’s stiff against Beavin and McKissock. Dawn Sullivan should be SEC COY … you mean to tell me that another coach in the building tonight should be passed on for this award… oh my. Drama. |

Top teams further separated themselves tonight.
Florida, Tennessee, Ark - All dominant performances. Arkansas with the easiest matchup, but hitting +.400 is rolling no matter who you’re playing.
And Mizzou! Gettin the season sweep over TAMU. Big win for those Tigers. They’ve got a really tough home stretch, don’t know if they can stay in 5th but a 6th place finish would be a huge win for them. Picked to finish behind AL. What a year for them.
I think unless Arkansas get an outright or shared SEC championship then Dawn has the best case for COY. But it would be hard to say no to an Arkansas rebuild coming all the way to the top from a 5 sec win year at the beginning of Jason’s time.

Mizzou has been a revelation - it's nice to be able to consider coaches with upward trajectories versus those always on top.

"Top teams?" Florida is 6th in the SEC right now. Yes, I think they’re a ‘top team’ in the SEC. They’ve gotta beat Mizzou, end up 5th, all 5 of those teams being ranked in the top 25. Weird loss against MSU, that’s bad. But 3 losses to top 15 teams, a split with top 25 Auburn and a split with a nice TAMU team that we all think is pretty talented. |

Personal opinion, I think it’s harder to get from the middle, going .500 ish in sec play to the top, going 16-2, which the sec champ will likely need to be this year, than it is to go from near the bottom to the middle. 5 sec teams have losing records on the year, say you just beat those teams, you’re already near the middle, maybe you have a couple of those twice you’re up to 8 wins. But if you wanna be at the top you gotta go to Florida, win; go to Tennessee, win; go to Kentucky and win (which Ark lost in 5). |
