I think people have been thinking this new team with a new coach would be in shambles. I think that this team may surprise a lot of people this season I do think this team has been surprising-- lots of bright spots, but their two losses to Oklahoma (who got swept by Oregon State) and LSU (losses to Ball State and Southeastern Louisiana) are not giving me a ton of confidence that UCLA will get the RPI they need to survive the tourney bubble. In shambles? No. Looking like they can make the tournament? Still very unclear. There is a lot of season left, so I'm hoping out defense and OH production can positively surprise us. |

Is Leverette playing tonight? I had high hopes for Hendrickson, but it seems Leverette is the better hitter. We need to get our passes together so we can set Dodson and Becker more! They're both so good! And Ndiaye's hits have been incredible!

Ugh that USC match was very much in our hands to win-- praying this coaching staff can help our OHs shore up their passing and become more terminal.

Substandard setting cost UCLA from winning this match… Mullin had horrible mechanics…especially in the 4th and 5th sets… elite hitters couldn’t save her… couldn’t save UCLA |

UCLA is losing their way. Their pins aren't great at passing/serve receive, and setters not always bettering the ball. They should have been able to get AZ OOS much better than they did. Pins hitting into the block too much, and not playing smart.

Pins hitting into the block too much, and not playing smart. I agree. I am concerned after this weekend. Almost feel like coaches are still tinkering with lineup like it is pre-season. I guess to some extent, with Alfee with Team USA, they missed the pre-season tinkering. At this point, not sure if they plan on running a 5-1 with Pak or Mullen or a 6-2. Not sure who the L is. Not sure if they have a 6 rotation pin. Not sure who OH2 is. Not sure if they are setting tempo or not. Except for MB and Opp a young team. Effort looks there, but still more questions than answers heading into Game 17. |

Seems like this may be a building season. With the talent and experience UCLA has they should be playing as inconsistent as they are. |

I am surprised the other first year coaches in the pac 12 are doing better than he did. He has better players like Dodson and Ndiaye.
Very disappointed with the left side pin transfer he brought in. Both Hendrickson and Umeh are disappointing, the latter has not played at all
