What is Michigans projected line up? It's listed in the OP on page 1 but I will repeat it here. Mind you this is just my opinion: Burke/Johnson (S); Jacobs/Vaulet (OH); Boney/Nyambio (MB); Murray (OPP); Grant (L) We could easily swap Murray and Vaulet; Blue needs production from both positions. Morgan Burke has a chance to crack into the lineup and we are hoping for a healthy Scottee Johnson this season. Michigan lost its top 3 scorers from 2022 so this could be a rough transition year.

Fall roster posted today, Erin is back in A2 after goofing around at the VNL, and camps are in action this week. 2025 commits should not be far behind. Go Blue! is Erin back for good (this year) I can’t imagine she’ll leave for other USA competitions

It will be interesting to see what kind of an impact L. Johnson will bring to the team. She brings much needed size to the pins and from the video I have seen, she sees the (smaller club) block well. She also has a nice hammer for an arm. That being said, I’m not sure about her passing and defense but surely it can’t be worse than what we already have?

I don't like the looks of that October 7 Olympics promotion. That would be right around the time Erin would return if she was working the Olympics qualifier in Poland with the WNT. Is she really going to miss the B1G opener against MSU?

She said she's going to Olympic qualifiers.. that's until Sept 24... thats like half of the season already by the time she gets back...

Just as important to me is you’re missing the three week preseason training period. That’s one of the biggest times when you’re bonding as a team. I have this big phrase I use with people. People love to talk about having “quality time” but there’s no great way to manufacture it. There’s only quantity time and then true quality time comes out of that organically. I’ll also say that if there’s a conflict between our words and actions, we believe the actions. She can talk all she wants about how important the team’s success is, but if she’s not there it’s not going to be believed. Not completely, anyway. Hopefully it pays dividends for her in all kinds of ways in the long run, both from a personal fulfillment perpspective as well as helping her achieve her career goals at Michigan, but there can’t be any doubt in anyone’s mind she’s making it clear she’s willing to sacrifice the current Michigan season by prioritizing the national team. I just don’t see any way around that. I hope it works out for her.

Maybe she'll skip the NORCECAs and then you're only losing her for <2 weeks in september... i dont see how one can sign on to miss the whole preseason... like that would have to be a deal breaker... its michigan...

He ended up winning a couple of national championships, so I’d say it was well worth it. But he was the head coach for the national team. And Jerditt Elliott was named as the interim coach until Haley stepped down from the national team and took over. Well, hopefully it works out. But I’d be bummed to learn of this if I were a Michigan fan.

Nothing against Mick, but I've always wondered what would have happened if he DIDN'T come, and they just left their interim coach in place.

There’s nothing so magical about Texas that makes similar results impossible elsewhere. Jim Moore proved that. UT as a program gets way too much credit IMO, and Elliott not enough. It’s always about the head coach, and when you get the right one, can you keep him/her. And if Erin Virtue ends up being the right person, she’ll be well worth the wait. Her strong affiliation with the national team is an asset for sure. But so is coming out of the gate strong. But it’s her life and her movie. Like I said, I hope it works out for her.

How do you rank the promotions? Graphic gives me headaches. So busy lol. I'm not sure how I rate the individual promotions, but I am impressed with the post. Each promotion is vividly and clearly communicated. Eight clear promos with different dates, opponents and promotions in one post? Someone knows what they are doing. IMO
