bprtbone it’s time to embrace Valentina Vaulet supremacy (as long as she’s still coming, which I would assume so) I'm here for it avid 2.0 ! Now if we can just find a way to feed her the ball... I'll be interested to see what that move is for that final scholarship. YES, clearly, OH is the top need. I'd love to have Robinson back, but middle blocker is maybe the only area of depth with Boney and Nyambio (presumably) returning. Pertofsky will be fun to watch with a new coaching staff (no matter where that is). Vaulet coming in on that right side makes me think May's return is less likely. But if a new staff gets her serve back to being a weapon she'll be a true asset wherever she ends up. If this first year under Virtue is going to be viewed as a re-build season I don't think they'd target a setter in the portal unless its someone they can get for 2+ years. Perhaps EV and staff will be able to turn Johnson into the player it was thought she could be when she came in. The web roster has been rolled to 2023, but it is still the 2022 roster with EV added as the lone coach. |

This is the feeling I get too. As much as UM needs an OH1, I think the vibe of the team had turned so much of us (all but one player) vs. them (coaching staff + 1 player) that it is almost impossible to repair. Now, I remember Erin was a tremendous people-person in her time with us before. Maybe she'll be able to mend that situation. But call me dubious (NOT because of EV, but because of the team). I'm just as intrigued in what this means for the Robinson/Pertofsky portal entry. Im confused… someone care to explain what was going on at Michigan? From the rumblings on this website and the murmurs in Cliff Keen Arena by the end of the season, there was favoritism played toward Mruzik because of her relationship with the Rosens' son. I have no idea what actually went down this year. It was an unfortunate mess. |

Oh I see, thank you. I can understand how that would probably be a very uncomfortable situation for the other players, Mruzik, and the coaches. Feels like it would be pretty impossible to avoid problems in that kind of situation.

Cam Hannah from Clemson for an OH? Chicago kid who hit over .250 on almost 900 attempts. Couldn't tell you how her passing is.

The more I read/see/hear about EV the more excited I am about the hire. I know there isn't a ton to go on right now, but I wish we could get back to weekly Facebook updates with the head coach. |

SMH A few of us have pointed out that things have... fallen off... since the most recent switch at SID. Rosen Reports (RIP) this year were 1) no longer live and 2) no longer valuable. They were a bit longer with the previous people (especially the guy), but it felt like it was all valuable information. Constant typos and other mistakes (like the included post) both in-game and on other posts became the norm. During our Wisconsin match, which was nationally televised, we posted a video of WISCONSIN WINNING A POINT and saying "The team, the team, the team". It was also deleted, but the fact that it went out says just about everything. I appreciated the upgrade in broadcast this past season, but I tell you what, the drop off in other aspects was notable. |

Okay, the tweet was fixed. Welcome Coach Pawlikowski! I had a feeling about this hire. We saw Dan and his wife Coley in A2 last spring when he brought the Brondby team over from Denmark. He will need to hit the ground running, lots of work to do.
