*~whataboutisms~*, especially ones that rely on ridiculous slippery slopes (classic conservative tactic), don't matter, you are correct As "ridiculous" as a slippery slope may be, my question is always, "Is it possible?". Second question becomes, "If it is possible, is there a way to safeguard against that possibility?" Third question, "Do we need to safe guard against that possibility?" If you concede that a slippery slope is ridiculous, spending time asking questions about it is also likely ridiculous.

Dude, can you figure out holiday? If you can, please let us know. That was an easy one. I'm surprised donut couldn't figure it out, but then he also has problems recognizing some sarcasm on here. Again, congratulations CanAm.
You can't grasp anything else on the OTN, but you can spot holiday's "sarcasm"!!!
(Also LOL at thinking typos were the only thing undecipherable about holiday's post)

Well typos and punctuation, but again, you're the one struggling with comprehension. Not sure why you need to take it out on me, though I do have my suspicions.

I'll help you out, I used quotations to indicate that the I don't necessarily see validity in the word you used. Geez, am I going to have to start a "Hey donut" thread?

Heads up, you'll have to be able to explain why a logical fallacy isn't a logical fallacy. Good luck!

Jesus, LOL at you thinking typos and punctuation is the only thing wrong with holiday's post. Also, I'm not taking anything out on you. I'm calling it like I see it. You're the one with a creepy obsession with me and your ability to recognize a moron's sarcasm.

You thought what he wrote was gibberish, when it was quite easy to decipher. Add a word and a comma and it all falls into place. Did you not see that or were you being disingenuous and condescending? Irregardless ( ), it seems to me that you may be the one with the obsession, which is weird because I'm such low hanging fruit for you. Got my suspicions about that too.

This stuff drives me crazy, but it happens with a living language. Regardless Of What You Think, 'Irregardless' Is A WordMerriam-Webster raised the hackles of stodgy grammarians last week when it affirmed the lexical veracity of "irregardless." The word's definition, when reading it, would seem to be: without without regard. "Irregardless is included in our dictionary because it has been in widespread and near-constant use since 1795," the dictionary's staff wrote in a "Words of the Week" roundup on Friday. "We do not make the English language, we merely record it." Merriam-Webster defines irregardless as "nonstandard" but meaning the same as "regardless." "Many people find irregardless to be a nonsensical word, as the ir- prefix usually functions to indicates negation; however, in this case it appears to function as an intensifier," the dictionary writes.

It is not my fault that you think “English, please.” only refers to typos and punctuation. It is my fault, however, that I let you bait me into these ridiculous cries for attention.
I also don’t know why you keep bringing up these “suspicions.” It’s… creepy, but I guess I’ll let you have them - I don’t care, and they’re probably worthless coming from an irrational person.
Lastly, I’ll assume you ignored the post about the somewhat more substantive/relevant conversation (ridiculous slippery slope questions about abortion are stupid) because you couldn’t rebut it… again.
Peace!

Irregardless of your regard for the use of irregardless, I regard it as useless.
