you are such a effing sleazeball. There should be some sort of decency about you that would stop you from making comments like this but obviously you’re just an awful person. I’m sorry but I think it’s the parents job to raise their children. And also talk about sex education. I think it’s also up to parents to teach their kids morals and standards. It’s not up to political activist like you or teachers with a political agenda. The terrible person here is you. Children are not the property of their parents. Children are certainly not the property of the schools. And yes, until they’re 18 the parents are responsible for their children. In other words mind your own business.

Sex ed is beneficial for students. Especially when parent’s don’t know or refuse to talk about it. Especially when you are not heterosexual. First of all thank you for always being civil, I get that, I can understand where you’re coming from. At what age do you think it’s appropriate to teach kids sex it? There can be age appropriate discussions starting as early as elementary school. For me, it definitely needs to be a topic by middle school grades. Too many college-aged students (adults) don't know what PrEP is or how to get it.

I also agree that gay students I need the option to be able to talk to people and ask questions

Hey! Hey! Hey! Like 50 years ago, he spent time in Denver in a "buffet" apartment. You people argue over the dumbest damn things. Do you remember what a huge deal the” Buffet apartment” became? You people need a life and something more important to do. It wasn't a huge deal. Everyone just got a nice little chuckle when you showed, for the billionth time, that you don't know what you're talking about. You pride yourself on your ignorance.

Sex ed should probably start in elementary school. Age appropriate sex Ed curriculum for children that age already exists.
Also, lol at the conservative parents enrolling their kids at a school that teaches "classics of western culture" getting angry about the most famous sculpture in the history of western culture.

I had an interesting conversation with one of my kids friends father who is a local Dr who used to live in FL. He said he, and many of his colleagues with children, moved north to the NY/New England area with higher taxes and COL because they could send their kids to quality public schools instead of paying a small fortune to send their children to private school in FL. He said the public schools down there are a mess and quality private schools are too expensive. Not a large pool to make sweeping arguments, but an interesting take on the current climate of public education in Florida (Tallahassee area).

Unfortunately, the majority of posters here don't think that amounts to a hill of beans.

Interested in anyone here with children that believe their children's school teacher, pastor, sports coach, school administrator, or anyone else loves and has the best interest of your child more than you?
Of course, parents should know what is being taught to their children.

BTW, DeSantis just signed into a law a school choice bill - that will make it much easier for kids to attend schools that DeSantis has no control over the subject content.

Of course, parents should know what is being taught to their children. Of course not. However, education is a community project which advances the well-being of society by doing the best for all the kids. I do think teachers and administrators and coaches love and care for all the children more than I can or could. That's part of the deal when you live in a society with other people. You are casting your lot in with your neighbors, fellow residents, and the community at large.

Do they care more about your kids than you care about your kids? Is their interest in the well being of your kids greater than yours?

'Community project' to me is code for historical massive failure and corruption. Choice and liberty is much more valuable in gaining societal gains.
