Northwestern seems to have a VERY aggressive program this weekend with multiple broadcasting of video for: Men's basketball, Softball, W Lacrosse, Baseball, Men's tennis, wo tennis, and wrestling. Seems someone needs to pick up the phone and ask for volleyball.

Maddy Chinn to Northwestern - thoughts? Personally, pretty excited, she's played well every time Purdue faces NU.
NW got a great one in Chinn. Can play on either pin (though she's really great on the right), can pass, probably could play back row if needed. She'll definitely help diversify the offense. She had some bright moments at Purdue. I think it'll really open people's eyes to see her starting full-time on a consistent basis.

I am excited to see what NU does in 2023. It has been an uphill battle since Shane came to town. Plenty of missed opportunities during his tenure but overall things seem to be moving in a positive direction. The talent has been there but I think Shane has had to learn how to make the adjustment from coaching men's volleyball.
They are only 2 deep so hopefully the next portal session bears fruit. I was hoping they’d nab JRob.
Pin-wise, they are now quite deep. Chinn, Giansancomo, and Randorf can all effectively play OH or Opp, so curious where they will net out. I also like their back court trio in Stinson, Navarrete and Wright. All 3 could wear the different colored jersey. Weight gives a back row attack option, too.
As for who the Cats might be targeting in the portal, the team IG page is following Maddy Chinn (Purdue-Sr+ RS), Lydia Grote (Cal-Sr* RS), Lauren Ohlinger (Boise State-Sr+ OH), Julia Sangiacomo (Santa Clara-Sr+ OH), and Alexandra Zakutney (Green Bay-Sr+ RS). Eppright is also following Jess Robinson (Michigan-Sr+ MB).
Sr* = Senior plus Covid Year Available, Sr+ = Using Covid Year To Play In 2023
Update: ✓ Chin ✓ Sangiacomo
? Grote ? Zakutney
X Ohlinger X Robinson

Can Grote convert and play MB?
Zakutney probably isn’t needed, and I think is en route to medical school.
