The women's volleyball team will have their spring black and gold scrimmage this Saturday the 11th at 3pm. Early look at the team and transfers before the spring matches begin. Go Beach!

The first real spring matches for LBSU will be this weekend at the USC tournament. The team has had some players leave the program and others coming in mid season so it's really going to be a new look team when you also factor in graduation and indoor players playing beach. I am sure everyone will play Saturday but my starters are:
S - returning starter Myer
Op - mid season freshman O'Reilly
MB - returning starter Bacon
MB - returning OH starter Kennedy
OH - transfer Lesiak
OH - transfer Agi
L - returner Hoff
Really looking forward in seeing how the new players look athletically and their skill set. I believe the program still has a scholarship to give out so maybe another transfer by the start of the season. Go Beach!

LBSU will be playing a really tough schedule next season. The tentative schedule has Texas, LMU, Indiana, Washington and UCLA at home and road matches at Omaha, Nebraska (Lincoln), and a tourney at Arizona. Great home schedule if they can pull off some big wins. In addition, the Big West will be sponsoring a conference tournament and it will be in LB the first year. Go Beach!

LBSU is bringing in some very tough teams for home matches so hopefully the Beach can pull off some good victories. If the results are a preseason winning record a good RPI ranking should be established. Plus, I believe Hawaii will be a very good team this season and UCSB should be solid so some good conference wins also help. Excited for the season to open.

Wow, that is a really tough preseason schedule. Iron sharpens iron, hopefully the Beach is made of Iron. Yeah I think Hawaii is going to be top 15-20 this season so there is some potential big wins available in the Big West. |
