Hey Beach, you get UCSB in the semi's, whereas the Wahine probably will get Cal Poly. This time, coming in 2nd is a really BIG PLUS.

This time, coming in 2nd is a really BIG PLUS. the opponent doesn't matter, especially for the Beach. would have to beat Santa Barbara sooner or later. the lack of practice though is a big deal for Beach with the return trip. Beach has bigger problems to work out, their receiving has stagnated or regressed since early October, and Meyer's timing on her middle sets has been off. Beating up on bottom Big West teams for 5 weeks was an illusion of progress for Beach. Not sure those can get fixed, with one practice. Beach probably needs a week off as it is, and that ain't happening. we shall see. the Beach should probably be banned from the BWCT anyway for choking away an 11 point lead, should be some sort of disqualification rule for doing something like that. expunge the trashy play, and back to fundamentals for Beach |
