I’m such a huge believer in Hildebrand.

Logan King is a very good player that already plays at a high level as a 2025. Tyler's 2025 class is rounding out to be a very good one that will impact the program.

I was of course looking forward to the Texas match but this is the weekend I circled first. Three good teams coming to the mid and I expect quality play each and every match. I typically do not go to the non LBSU matches but I will this weekend.
Will be interesting to see if Tyler starts the match tonight with the same starters or will he try something a little different. The pins have been hot or cold so hopefully the right combination will be on the court from the start. The starting middles have been the most consistent offensively in the early going but at some point I would like to see freshman Lomigora hit the court. She looked good in the scrimmage and has the potential to be a really big contributor this season or for sure next season.
Like most matches I hope LBSU can serve and pass the ball better than the opposite side of the net. LBSU looked good here in the Texas match but was a little ragged vs LMU.

To me, Indiana and LBSU seemed fairly matched with Long Beach playing a little better, especially when it counted. Go Beach.

Versus New Mexico State LBSU upping the intensity of their training by playing as many Match Points as they can.

way too many match points, had two great chances at 24-23 and later and Agi some poor swings. at least she swings more confidently than Karach.
Karach those had two nice serves to end the match. Hope Bjorn can get her confidence up, she is really a missing link Beach needs desperately.
Beach looked fantastic first two sets, and Meyer was distributing well. but then NMSU started handling serve better and the match was even. Starr Williams almost exacted some revenge on her former teamates in those 3rd and 4th sets. Meyer needed to take some swings today like the last two days.
6-4 is better than I would have though entering the season. a good weekend for the Beach
can't believe Beach got a Pac-12 road sweep for the first time in over 30 years over Zona hadn't happened since 1992, and none of those 90s and 2000s teams ever swept a Pac-12 team on the road. I would have lost that bet.
it's a resilient Beach team that's really solid in transition play, need to score better on first contact though

BEACH !!!!
yes, in Tyler we trust
finally a breakout performance for Karach, especially that OOS kill on the bump set inside the block - huge point, and hopefully huge confidence builder
