One down and one more assistant to be named. I like that in her time at LMU their recruiting improved and looking forward to Morgan doing the same at the Beach.
Tyler brought in two from the portal and lost two to the portal, with Chacon going back to FSU for beach only. Lesiak from Northwestern and Agi from Oregon are the two incoming transfers.
Now with year one under Tyler's belt, it will be interesting to see if the tweaks to the lineup and coaching staff will push LBSU from third in the conference to really contending for the conference championship. Go Beach!

Chacon is a huge loss as she was their top hitter last season.
Is her sister still with the team or she graduated?

Chacon is a huge loss as she was their top hitter last season. Is her sister still with the team or she graduated? Savana remains with the team. Candidate for DS or Libero next year. As much as Chacon is a loss, she was a volume and not a high % hitter, a solid all-around player, the work-load asked of her last year I think affected defense a bit. Even if Chacon returned, Beach needs an improvement in a terminator Beach still lacking a big terminator. JOrdan and Glenn are superb athletes capable of great defense. Main thing IMO is impact on depth at OH. |

Tyler really asks a lot of versatility from his pins and the BIC is an in system play where a lot of schools only run it out of system. M Chacon fit in real well and was improving on quicker sets. She will definitely be missed and she will continue to excel on the beach at FSU.
Kennedy has decided not to play beach this season and concentrate on indoors. This will only help her and the team next season. If she can kick it up a notch she will really be a difference maker next season.
My real question marks are in the middle and developing an upper tier libero.

Morgan was my favorite non-Hawaii Big West player but I’m excited to see what Tyler does with what he has now and what he will bring in!

Chacon is a big loss for LBSU. Hope the team can keep on progressing next year!
Beach fans, I know Williams and Chacon left, but who were the players that completed their eligibility and/or decided not to return?

Both O’Sullivan and Schwarzenbach used up their final year of eligibility during the 2022 season.

I am always Wisconsin first, Hawai'i second, and Northern Illinois third, but I very, very much hope for the LBSU at large bid ASAP, which would be great for volleyball!
