I believe that Purdue gets the best athlete that fits into their program and will play to make history at Purdue. Majority of players do not transfer and are proud to play for Purdue. I think that McAleer has played with a few of the Purdue current players……Allie Shondell and a few others. I think that this group and future groups of recruits are building the foundation for history making success. This is a unique group of women and I believe in them. The most recent press conference with Eva, Chloe, and Maddie was really good. They spoke about what made this team different from last years team and other teams that Maddie has been on. They are trying to do something special at Purdue. McAleer may not be the top ranked libero……but HC Shondell and Jewell will coach her up to be better……like Miller and Cramer.
I was fortunate enough to find a ticket for the matches this weekend. Helping to make Holloway one of the loudest places to play in and hopefully see a pair of Purdue wins.

Beason (and many others) has me believe that prep ranking isn't that important. It's a nice discussion topic during the off season. some athletes peak earlier and some develop later in age. a snapshot at 18 doesn't tell the whole story.

How are my Purdue fans feeling about the potential matchup with Oregon? Definitely one of the possible Sweet 16 matchups I have highlighted and circled and I think y’all have as good a chance as any for a little upset!

Sigh. I'm not happy with where Purdue is in the bracket this year. I would genuinely like to root for y'all...but Oregon was probably my best case scenario for who Wisconsin could draw in the elite 8 just because of the speed of the offense via Pukis and their own physicality at the net.
I would've absolutely loved to see you in the Texas/Stanford region instead.

Sigh. I'm not happy with where Purdue is in the bracket this year. I would genuinely like to root for y'all...but Oregon was probably my best case scenario for who Wisconsin could draw in the elite 8 just because of the speed of the offense via Pukis and their own physicality at the net. I would've absolutely loved to see you in the Texas/Stanford region instead. Purdue has taken care of Wisconsin once. I wouldn’t put it past them to do it again. Plus I’m not too sure Oregon can take care of Purdue. But maybe I’m biased lol |

Plus I’m not too sure Oregon can take care of Purdue. But maybe I’m biased lol They were home, it was without Smrek and it was extra points in the fifth. Matchup wise, I just like the Oregon draw as someone who would like Wisconsin to lose. But Purdue is talented and a fun team to watch so yea it stinks in that regard. |

Purdue has taken care of Wisconsin once. I wouldn’t put it past them to do it again. Plus I’m not too sure Oregon can take care of Purdue. But maybe I’m biased lol They were home, it was without Smrek and it was extra points in the fifth. see I know all these things but let me live in my delusion 😭😂 |

To me, ANY program would want Chicoine, yet why would she even consider leaving? There is so much potential for Purdue’s future with these players IMO. Have been so impressed by Purdue’s growth this year. Eva has really turned it up, Colvin is a force, and Chicoine is incredible as a freshman. I really felt that her and Harper should have been co-freshmen of the year. Right, doesn’t happen but... And Anderson is top notch. Lourdes is also impressive. Just want to say that Purdue is the other Big Ten team I have enjoyed watching the most this season. Glad Nebraska played them earlier in the season. It was great to see you knock off Wisconsin. Hope you continue to win all the way to the final four. |

I sure hope that Chicoine and Hudson stay for the full 4 years. :/ You’re never going to get anything too definite regarding something like this - and by definite, I mean something that can’t be denied - on a message board because this is a recruiting violation. It’s a violation that happens regularly, but it tends to be in a roundabout way so there’s no direct connection with the schools involved. |
