You’re right about her not being able to be in the transfer portal at the moment. I was just wondering if people knew which schools were interested in Chloe. But yes, to leave Purdue and come to their school. Yeah I am glad to hear that. I still believe that these are all ladies that want to make history at Purdue. It’s just rumors anyway. Ok, so I hope this goes nowhere even its true regarding contacts. To me, ANY program would want Chicoine, yet why would she even consider leaving? There is so much potential for Purdue’s future with these players IMO. Have been so impressed by Purdue’s growth this year. Eva has really turned it up, Colvin is a force, and Chicoine is incredible as a freshman. I really felt that her and Harper should have been co-freshmen of the year. Right, doesn’t happen but... And Anderson is top notch. Lourdes is also impressive. Just want to say that Purdue is the other Big Ten team I have enjoyed watching the most this season. Glad Nebraska played them earlier in the season. It was great to see you knock off Wisconsin. Hope you continue to win all the way to the final four. As a fan for almost 2 decades now, I am loving this team and their team chemistry right now. They seem to be all team first and playing for each other. Even the backups/bench players are top notch…Carr, Heaney, and Brown and etc. I would love to see Purdue reach a FF…don’t even have to win it, just make it to that match. HC Shondell and Co. have been so close for so long. |

Hi everyone. There is a rumor going around that Chicoine is being recruited by 4 colleges. Does anyone know of any of the colleges? I sure hope that Chicoine and Hudson stay for the full 4 years. :/ You’re never going to get anything too definite regarding something like this - and by definite, I mean something that can’t be denied - on a message board because this is a recruiting violation. It’s a violation that happens regularly, but it tends to be in a roundabout way so there’s no direct connection with the schools involved. I didn’t even think about the aspect of it being against the rules to essentially recruit Chloe. I am guessing that you cannot recruit anyone until they are in the actual transfer portal…right? I guess that it was a stupid question to ask about who would want Chloe/Eva. Have to think that there are coaches that would like either of them on their team. It has to be difficult to be an elite player. I cannot imagine being as talented as these amazing athletes and deciding as a teenage on where to go to college. |

Sounds like Brielle Warren is in the portal. Losing someone in the program to the program is unfortunate, but she never saw the court this year. With Hudson/Chicoine controlling the outside position and Heaney/Wollard/Rastovski holding down opposite, playing time would have been thin moving forward.
Here’s to hoping the transfers out are limited.

So who’s expected to take over for Schermerhorn? At this point, it would be Hornung. She will need to take a big jump forward to help take Purdue to a Final Four. After that I think it is Kane, but I’m not certain about that. I think incoming Freshman can push for the Libero spot, especially McAleer. |

Maddie is a great success story. I don’t think she was ever expected to be the starting Libero post Otec. But she worked her ass off and developed into a big time player. I’m a huge fan.
