I would love to see PVF utilize Puerto Rico as more of a champions league model instead of conjoining the leagues. Gives players extra games, especially early on with limited teams in America. And also just more exposure overall. Does Puerto Rico even have a foreign restriction? More room for North American/Caribbean athletes to grab some court time on a bigger stage. PR has a limit of 3. the problem with coexisting... is PR doesnt have anything other than location/lax nature of the league to offer thats better than PVF... PR players can earn more here and unless PR goes to a summer league... its always going to over lap Yes, the only point of coordinating is to somehow mesh the two--otherwise, they're just competing leagues.

LVSF wants to coordinate so they dont lose their league. PVF/LOVB means no more NCAA imports... the best PR players may leave... if LVSF moves to the fall/summer.. they can still do whatever they want with their teams.

That's what getting NORCECA involved can help with. For example, regulating transfer fees between LVSF and PVF/et al.

Ok, now that I'm someplace that has good internet and I have gotten caught up on things, I can complain properly (because that's what MB's are for, right?).
Ok, so in the presser they talk about ORL's owner is a buisness associate of GRR's owner, but they didn't announce the venue???
Com'on!
You can't just announce that a rich guy just bought a sports franchise and expect to make any news. Especially in Florida where it seems half the economy is based on rich people investing in sports teams that never play a game.
If he's besties with DeVos, it's not a leap of logic, but a mere rotation of the ankle, that the team will play in the Amway Center. THROW THAT INTO THE REALEASE! Then, maybe, the local media MIGHT report it.
Wow, these guys are NOT good promoters.

Very possible. It's likely that there will be more than one network/service involved. ESPN keeps stating that their long-term plan is to not be on cable services anymore. I've stated that I feel PVF is very appealing to ESPN to grow their female audience... But, to be a broken record, a lot will depend on the markets that have teams. Yeah the markets will determine a lot. What do you think the odds are of there being a west coast team the first year? I see there’s still one TBA team on the front page and pretty much every announced/unconfirmed team is in the Midwest or the South. San Diego has been announced.
