Camilla Gomez has been answering questions on her Instagram the last two days.
She has committed to a team in PVF but won't announce it.
My initial thought is Dallas.

Paige Briggs wants to stay with PVF. Either in Omaha or Grand Rapids.

Paige Briggs wants to stay with PVF. Either in Omaha or Grand Rapids. good keep for the league. feel like she could’ve easily gotten snagged by a European team if she desired.

In the aftermath of the championship final, I had to sit back and marvel at how quickly this all transpired from beginning to end. It seemed like a super accelerated time period to build teams, train player, and figure out how the team was going play, and find the right formula.
Even though Omaha was picked pre-season as one of the teams to make it to the finals, it was all a venture into the unknown: new league, new everything.
I think credit should be given to Shelton Collier for putting together this Omaha roster. If memory serves me right, Omaha was the third team to go into operation, behind Atlanta and Grand Rapids. So Omaha was behind the other two teams in scouting, identifyinh, negotiating, and signing the players. The foundation of the team was really solid, I am still astounded that De La Cruz and Vuchkova chose to sign with Omaha. Hilley, Nuneviller, and White were pros throughout the ups and downs of the season and trading for Paige Briggs was pretty perspicacious. I think the addition of Samedy later in the season definitely gave the team a boost, who Collier did not sign.
This is not to dismiss what Bird and the staff did in preparing the team every day, they were instrumental in getting them ready; but I credit Collier for setting the table, so to speak, with identifying, building, and going through the process of signing these players.
Even though he is no longer actively involved with the Omaha team, I hope he gets some recognition from the ownership for the Yeoman work he performed in building the team from scratch.

Terry Pettit did the leg work with players like Hilley and Brooke. Im not sure how much credit Collier can claim there.
Overall, Omaha's initial roster was above average (highlighted by Brooke). Stephanie Samedy's arrival was the catalyst for Omaha's title run.
There will need to be a lot of work done going into season two for a lot of coaches/GMs?/whoever is responsible for forming the teams.

And kudos to the Supernovas' owners and leadership for realizing they needed to fire Collier after only 2 matches. That was a major move and a big financial commitment that paid off with a league championship.

Walton and Mayforth feel like obvious candidates (if they want it) but i also dont trust any of them (the franchises) to know what they're doing lol

Seems like Shelton got the recognition he deserved. Care to elaborate? What’s the point of elaborating. He got fired very, very early in the season. Maybe you should be elaborating on why that happened.

It feels like at times, the team won despite whoever the GM/Front Office Decision Makers were. The team definitely was a hot mess at times and got better as the season went on though and the coaching probably had a lot to do with it. With all the advantages the Omaha franchise did have, it could have been easier--but they were able to do it nonetheless.
