I was looking into the distribution rights, and it looks more like it got lost in the shuffle when Disney bought 20th Century Fox. A low budget independent movie with a distribution deal just wasn't something on their radar. I asked a friend in Disney's platform distribution unit about the movie. She said nobody she knew at Disney had heard of it prior to it being released by Angel. |

And wasn’t Covid involved also Maybe? I read that it was shelved initially because Covid hit and they couldn’t release it even if they wanted to because there would be no audience. I can’t provide a link because I can’t remember where I read that. |
