Pervertio? Polyester? That was pathetic and embarassing. What did they wear in that era? Polyester idiot. That doesn't make it funny, foolio.

More silly insults. And you refuse to engage in actual conversation.Mathis is why people get frustrated with you, Holiday.

I haven't heard if there was any sex though. Will more details come out?

Sleeping in the same bed is one thing. Sometimes sleeping is just sleeping, you know? Although not all married couples sleep in the same bed anyway.
No reason to do showering together.

I slept in the same bed with my mother a few years ago. Seemed kind of weird since I hadn't been in the same bed with her since I was a child. We were on the road to be near my dad when he had surgery. Long story, but the only surgeons for that procedure in the hospital system weren't near home. We got a "dealer's choice" hotel room at a really good rate, but when we asked if it could be two beds, we were told that all that was available for that rate was a single king. But the bed was big and it wasn't a big issue. I do remember seeing a display showing a 19th Century US Army post where the soldiers shared beds. And it was weird, with each pair sleeping on opposite ends. But yeah - the allegation is that he's a sexual predator who used his position to try and get some sort of sexual favors.

If you do mountaineering, you get pretty used to snuggling up close to any warm body. There also isn't a lot of body privacy among climbing partners. None of that means it is sexual.

Sure - I've been camping with relatives in a packed tent. But we never showered together. I still hate showers and locker rooms without privacy. We never showered in our PE classes. The big thing was that there was never enough time anyways. But there's no expectation of privacy with my wife. I think the most awkward thing I did (before I was married) was go on trips with a female friend. She was maybe the closest to a sister I've known (other than maybe my cousin). Nothing more than that, but we shared a few hotel rooms on trips with separate beds. And once she brought her friend and they shared a bed. More recently I've gone on solo trips (my family was out of town so I had plenty of time) and I stayed in a few mixed-gender hostel rooms where it was my only booking option. Once there were no women in the room, while another time there were and I always changed out of their sight and wore shorts to bed.

When he rode the court circuit, Abraham Lincoln shared a bed with the other attorney. Because modern people can't handle things like that, it led to assertions post-1990ish that Lincoln was homosexual/closeted. Ditto for Stephen Douglas. All it takes is the temperature to drop below freezing and you have no problem huddling with whoever is nearby in as big a clump as you can get to share warmth.
