Add Vargas to a team like Canada, Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, etc. If you have a mostly competent team and you add a Vargas, you can have a chance in any match.

But Turkiye also changed the whole team as well, it wasn’t just Vargas, nobody is denying how talented she is.
The whole team is playing great. Middle blockers are one of the best in the world, libero as well. Setter isn’t in her best form but she’s the Champions League Champion setter. Outside hitter Karakurt is another terminator and she’s passing dimes as an OH. Homegirl was horrible in that last year.
Anyway, this whole Vargas is the only best thing in the team is a bit ridiculous 😂

You know, when you add a certain player to a team, it can easily make other players better (or at least appear better), right?

Nobody is saying Vargas is the only good player on the Turkish team. If you've read this board long enough, you know there's plenty Eda Erdem (and to a lesser extent, Gunes).

But anyone looking at the Turkish team and NOT seeing that THE SINGLE biggest difference is in Vargas, not the other changes, then, they're simply wrong. Period.
